​Represent Victorian government schools as an accredited education agent. 

Thank you for expressing your interest in becoming an accredited education agent for Victorian government schools. As an accredited agent, you will play a vital role in providing information and support to international students considering enrolment in Victorian government schools.

Accreditation criteria

The following criteria will be used to assess your agency's suitability for Accreditation with the Department of Education (DE), Victoria:

  1. Business Registration – a Registered Business complying with all relevant laws and regulations of Australia. (Certified translation required if based overseas).

  2. Business Services – demonstrated capacity to deliver counselling and support services to clients. (A short presentation of your business and business plan)

  3. Market Knowledge and Capacity – demonstrated previous experience in recruiting international students for 3 years minimum (in the Australian schools sector, long-term 500 visa subclass students).
  4. Appropriately Trained and Qualified Staff – At least one staff member has a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC) Certificate.

Please note, your agency must:

  • have over 3 years of experience recruiting for the Australian school sector
  • be accredited with at least 2 Australian Primary/Secondary schools.
  • obtain 2 Reference Checks - Australian-based and school sector education institution (please note, references from individuals working within the Victorian Government school system or Department of Education will not be accepted.)


Once your agency meets these criteria, please submit all required documents by clicking the “Join our EOI List” below, and you will be included in the Expression of Interest (EOI) list. If your agency is considered suitable for accreditation, we will send you an invitation for the accreditation process when the cycle reopens.
